If you have access to a multimeter, you might check for continuity ohmmeter function from green to something metal on the truck frame.
Feb 12, 4. Get a voltmeter and check. Run the black on the voltmeter to a good ground and then probe both wires with the red. Which ever shows a 12 VDC reading when you probe it is the hot wire.
